Abstract expressionist (action works), acrylic on canvas.
Based on a single palette of colour split into differing shades, the work explores the relationship between race, gender and creed and the bigotry that exists in society today.
Each work communicates the reality of all human life coming from the same original place and despite physical differences, the core of all human life is made from the very same cell structures, material and basis and from that same origin.
Despite this simple connection humans are so often separated by the prejudice that exists within society and the cultural differences that exist.
The work hopes to convey and communicate the reality of the shared beginning and continual fellowship despite the obvious differences.
